A Long History of Beretta
According to most reports, Beretta can be traced back to the 15th century, when the Beretta family began working in the town of Fardone Val Trompia in northern Italy. Despite this, the first recorded transaction of the fledgling Beretta company would not come until 1526, when Bartolomeo Beretta sold 185 arquebus barrels to the Arsenal of Venice. From that point onward, the Beretta family would grow into the impressive and illustrious company that still stands today.
Initially, the Beretta company’s focus remained on manufacturing gun parts for sale to the military. However, as time passed, they developed an interest in developing the entire firearm. This interest was spearheaded by Giuseppe Beretta, who saw an untapped market for sporting guns for civilians. With a new market to build for, Beretta’s production would only explode, bringing new and impressive innovations that would carry its name into the 21st century.
Quality to Last Centuries
With nearly 500 years of experience, Beretta’s craftsmanship is second to none. These firearms are designed for use in hunting, competition, self-defense, or by law enforcement; they need to be able to withstand whatever environment you take them to, whether that’s on the field or in the shooting range. And does Beretta pass the test?
With flying colors! These diverse, ergonomic firearms are made sturdy to last the ages, just like the brand name that makes them. Every Beretta is crafted by expert gunsmiths who are trained to have an eye for the small details. They are then quality checked before being sent out to Beretta’s valued customers. No matter what model you pick, you’ll find one suited for you.
